About the Board

The Transportation Board is a quasi-judicial Board attached to the Agency of Transportation. There are seven members of the Board, appointed by the Governor with the advice and consent of the Senate. The Governor appoints the Chair. Members of the Board are appointed for terms of three years and may be appointed for two additional three-year terms. No more than four members of the Board belong to the same political party.
